I’ve booked my stay, what happens next?
Thank you for booking with us! We send out text messages to arriving guests prior to your check in day. This will include useful information regarding the parks location, check in times and offers you the chance to hire a gazebo. We will also advise you that we will require a £100 returnable security deposit.
What do you provide in the lodges?
Our accommodation is all self catering. All bedding and towels are provided. If you are staying longer than 7 days, we are happy to provide fresh bedding and towels. Spa towels are provided in our Treehouse accommodation. Bath robes are provided in our Tree Pod accomodation.
Our Treehouses are provided with Nespresso Coffee machines (pods available to purchase in reception)

What should I bring?
We recommend sensible footwear as we are in the woods and it can get muddy! Layers of clothing is also advisable. All lodges have heating, but you may wish to bring your own robes and slippers (slippers can be purchased in reception). Don’t forget suitable attire for the hot tub!
What time is Check in?
Our check in time is 4pm. We do not offer early check ins in advance as this is dependant on the day. As you will have received our text message, you are welcome to message us on the day to see if its possible. We cannot guarantee our reception is manned before 4pm. We do not have other accessible facilities onsite until you have access to your accomodation.
Its arrival day, what do I need to do?
Our Check in is open between 4pm up until 6pm. Please be aware that 5-6pm is flexible based on when the last guest arrives. If you are arriving after 6pm or running late we recommend contacting us as soon as possible so we can organise an after hours check in for you. We may reach out on occasion to request this is organised.
Guests can check in at reception. We will require a physical Credit or debit card to complete our security deposit. We will not hand over keys until this is completed. Any other guests arriving afterwards can join you at your accomodation.
Can we get deliveries to the Park?
Yes, if you intend on having a food delivery on your arrival day please ensure your time slot is after you arrive (allow for travel delays!) we are unable to take food deliveries in reception, nor will grant access for drivers into your accomodation.
We have several Eateries that will also deliver on site. We will direct drivers to your lodge if we are onsite. Drivers may also contact you directly to meet them.
Is our Hot tub mantained?
Yes, your hot tub is checked daily usually between 9-10am during the week. It will also be checked daily over the weekend however times may vary.
Whos on site for us?
Our reception is open 9-5 Monday to Friday. Alex and Mat are onsite however they may be busy elsewhere on the park. Please speak to us in reception, Text us on the mobile number we reached you on, or pop your head out during our daily hot tub checks. We have an Emergency Caretaker on call when reception is shut.
Whens Check out?
Check out is 10am. Please return keys to reception, if you are leaving before reception is open please leave keys in our keybox. Please ensure you vacate your accommodation promptly to ensure cleaners have access. Delays may result in extra charges. We do not offer late Check outs, however if discussed with us, we may be able to extend this time at our discretion.
What do we do with our rubbish?
We have several bin stores located around the park. We encourage guests to recycle where possible and we provide colour coordinating bags to help assist. Please ensure your rubbish is taken to the bins prior to checking out. If you have been staying in our 3 Treepods your closest bin store is by the larger treehouses.
What happens after we leave?
Your accommodation will be checked over and providing it has been left in a reasonable manner we will send you a text message later in the day confirming we have released your security deposit. We will not charge for small breakages eg. glasses etc. however we would appreciate these are flagged to us so we can promptly change items.
Where’s my security deposit?
The £100 security deposit is processed as a pre authorisation, not a standard payment. The funds are held by your bank on our behalf. Once you check out, we instruct the bank to release the hold in line with the information provided at check in and in our follow up message. From that point, the process sits entirely with your bank.
Banks can take up to 10 working days to remove a pre authorisation. This is their stated timeframe and unfortunately we have no ability to speed this up, as we do not physically hold or control the funds at any stage.
We will never capture a deposit without contacting you to justify why we have done this.

A passion for the natural world runs in our family, too. Which is why Woodland Park Lodges is our dream come true. We’re committed to protecting the 52-acres of woodland on-site and are signed up to the David Bellamy Blooming Marvellous Pledge for Nature.
We also have a woodland management plan in place (to help us replant native species) and use guidance from local ecologists to help us boost the nature around us. We have planted a wildflower meadow and have plans to create more habitats for wildlife to thrive.
